‘The Light Cavalry’ was the name of a small image and print venture with Wojtek Wojnar from Krakow in Poland. I had Rembrandt’s painting of ‘The Polish Rider’ in mind and ‘Light’ alludes to ‘photo’. Wojtek and I visited the original in the Frick Collection in New York as part of a memorable trip in that took in Vegas, the Grand Canyon, Moab in Utah and New Hampshire.
